The Doctrine and Covenants: Intolerance

    Section 1

  1. I give those who distribute this book [the LDS church) power over everyone on earth, both believers and unbelievers, until God's wrath is poured out on wicked people. 1:8-9

  2. Woe to anyone who won't listen to my words. 5:5
  3. This generation will be condemned if they don't believe these three witnesses. 5:18
  4. If they don't repent, everyone on earth will be destroyed. 5:19

  6. Don't fight against any church, except for the church of the devil.

    Although the modern LDS church tries to deny it, "the church of the devil" was always understood my Mormons to be the Catholic Church. (See 1 Nephi 13 for what the Book of Mormon has to say about "the church of the devil".) 18:20

  7. If you don't know the name that you'll be called by, you'll have no place in my father's kingdom. 18:25

    8. Section 19

  8. Those who are found on Jesus's left hand will weep, wail, and gnash their teeth. 19:5
  9. Hell will be endless torment and endless damnation. 19:6-7
  10. I [Jesus] am endless, so the punishment that I give is endless. Endless is my name. 19:10
  11. God's punishment is eternal and endless. 19:11-12
  12. So keep the commandments that Joseph Smith, Jun. has given you. 19:13

  15. Those who reject the Book of Mormon will be condemned. 20:15

  17. If people don't accept you and believe what you [Joseph Smith] say, curse them by casting off the dust from your feet. 24:15

  24. I'm God. If you listen to me, I'll give you the greatest blessing. If you don't, I'll give you the greatest cursing. 1
  25. Expel anyone who refuses to obey my law. 5

  26. Sinners who don't repent shall be expelled from the church. 37
  27. Wo to those who don't die in me - their death is bitter. 47
  28. Those who obey my commandments will be saved; those who don't will be damned. 60

  29. The cup of the wrath of mine indignation is full. 26

  31. I'm God and I'll damn whoever refuses to receive my Son. 5

  33. Everyone must be organized according to my laws or they'll be cut off. 2

    Section 56

  36. I'm God. Listen to me. I'm angry at those who rebel. They'll get to know my arm. 1

  39. This is what I, the Lord, say to my people: You must repent because you have decided for yourselve what to do. 14

    40. Section 61

  40. Sidney Rigdon, Joseph Smith, Jun., and Oliver Cowdery won't open their mouths to the wicked until they arrive in Cincinnati. When they get there, they'll speak against the wicked people of Cincinnati, whom God wants to destroy. 30-31

    41. Section 63

    I'm angry with those who are wicked and rebellious. 2
  41. I kill, or keep alive, whoever I want. 3
  42. I destroy things for my own pleasure. I can even send souls to hell. 4
  43. The wicked, rebellious, and unbelieving should all be afraid. When the day of wrath comes, everyone will know that I'm God. 6
  44. God s angry with people who don't have faith. He doesn't show signs to them, he condemns them. 11
  45. The fearful, unbelieving, liars, whoremongers, and sorcerers will be burned in the lake of fire and brimstone. 17
  46. When I get angry I create wars where wicked people kill each other, and everyone is afraid. 33
  47. It'll be hard for the saints to escape. But I'll come down from heaven and save them by burning the wicked with unquenchable fire. I'm not going to do this for a while though. I'll do it by and by. 34-35
  48. Be patient, or you'll be condemned. Amen. 66

    49. Section 64

  49. After today cometh the burning - this is speaking after the manner of the Lord - for verily I say, tomorrow all the proud and they that do wickedly shall be as stubble; and I will burn them up, for I am the Lord of Hosts; and I will not spare any that remain in Babylon. 24
  50. The rebellious will be cut off from the land of Zion. 35

  51. Those who believe and are baptized are saved, those that don't believe aree damned. 9

  52. If someone doesn't receive you, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them. 20
  53. You'll be happy to know that on judgment day, you'll judge and condemn them. 21
  54. The heathen will be treated better on judgement day that they will be. 22

  55. It would have been better if the sons of perdition had never been born. Because they are doomed to suffer the wrath of God with the devil and his angels. They will never be forgiven. Because they denied the truth after believing it. They'll go into the lake of fire with the devil and his angels. 32-36
  56. Everyone will be saved except for the sons of perdition, who will be tormented forever. 43-44
  57. Everyone in the telestial world goes to hell, and stay in hell until Jesus finishes his work. 84-85
  58. Those in the telestial world suffer the wrath of God on earth, and the vengeance of eternal fire. 104-105

    59. Section 84

  59. Everyone is condemned until they read and believe the Book of Mormon. 57
  60. Those who don't believe and aren't baptised will be damned. Condemn them for their evil unbelieving hearts. 74-76
  61. Wo to the houses and cities that reject you. I'll send plagues upon them. 95-97
  62. All the rest of you should do the same: Go preach everywhere telling everyone that they will be killed if they don't believe what you say. 117
  63. I will destroy their kingdoms and shake the earth and stars. 118
