Surah 81: Selected Verses

1. When the sun is overthrown, And when the stars fall, And when the hills are moved ... when the seas rise ... when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked For what sin she was slain ... when the sky is torn away, And when hell is lighted ... every soul will know what it hath made ready. 81:1-14
2. Your comrade is not mad ... Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. 81:22-25
