Surah 8: Selected Verses

  1. The spoils of war belong to Allah and the messenger, so ... obey Allah and His messenger, if ye are (true) believers. Quran 8:1
  2. They only are the (true) believers whose hearts feel fear when Allah is mentioned. Quran 8:2
  3. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger. Quran 8:12

  12. O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and the messenger. Quran 8:24
  13. Allah is the best of plotters. Quran 8:30
  14. Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve. Quran 8:35
  15. Those who disbelieve will be gathered unto hell. Quran 8:36
  16. The wicked will He place piece upon piece, and heap them all together, and consign them unto hell. Quran 8:37
  17. Fight them [the disbelievers] until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. Quran 8:39
  18. Whatever ye take as spoils of war, lo! a fifth thereof is for Allah, and for the messenger. Quran 8:41
