Surah 74: Selected Verses

1. Surely that day will be a day of anguish, Not of ease, for disbelievers. 74:9-10
2. He hath been stubborn to Our revelations. On him I shall impose a fearful doom. 74:16-17
3. Him shall I fling unto the burning. 74:26
4. Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - It leaveth naught; it spareth naught It shrivelleth the man. 74:27-29
5. Above it are nineteen. 74:30
6. We have appointed only angels to be wardens of the Fire, and their number have We made to be a stumbling-block for those who disbelieve. 74:31
7. Allah sendeth astray whom He will. 74:31
8. He is the fount of fear. 74:56
