Surah 12: Selected Verses

1. These are verse of the Scripture that maketh plain. 12:1
2. Lo! We have revealed it ... in Arabic, that ye may understand. 12:2
3. He let down his pail (into the pit). He said: Good luck! Here is a youth. 12:19
4. She bolted the doors and said: Come! 12:23
5. Lo! this is of the guile of you women. Lo! the guile of you is very great. 12:28
6. She ... gave to every one of them a knife and said (to Joseph): Come out unto them! And when they saw him they ... cut their hands. 12:31
7. He will be crucified so that the birds will eat from his head. 12:41

9. Go with this shirt of mine and lay it on my father's face, he will become (again) a seer. 12:93
