Section 43: Selected Verses

1. There is none other [besides Joseph Smith] appointed unto you to receive commandments and revelations. 43:3
2. This shall be a law unto you, that ye receive not the teachings of any that shall come before you [besides Joseph Smith] as revelations or commandments. 43:5
3. Appoint ye my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and uphold him .. provide for him food and raiment, and whatsoever thing he needeth. 43:12-13
4. The great day of the Lord is nigh at hand. 43:17
