Section 2: Introduction

Although this section is dated by the LDS church, 21 September 1823, and would therefore be the first section, chronologically, in the D&C, it didn't appear at all until the 1876 edition.

This "revelation" was not recorded anywhere, in fact, until 1838 -- 15 after it was supposedly revealed. Joseph Smith never wrote it down or told anyone about it at the time.
