    2: The Cow: (Al-Madinah)

  1. Don't confuse truth with falsehood or knowingly conceal the truth. 2:42

    (But see the next verse which says that the enemies of Allah and Muhammad will be killed, crucified, have their hands and feet cut off, or expelled. And after they die they will face "an awful doom.") 5:32

    Muslim students often use this verse when they begin their studies. And since knowledge is a good thing, I've included it in "the good stuff" -- even though it makes no sense to ask Allah for it.

    Well, I guess this is about as good as it gets in the Quran. Allah encourages you to set your slaves free if they are good enough. And don't pimp out your slave-girls (concubines). 24:33
